Are all parts are latex free?
All parts do NOT contain natural latex rubber.
Why am I not hearing sounds clearly?
● Check the headset to make sure that it has been placed into the ears at the correct angle with eartips facing forward.
● Adjust the headset to ensure proper tension and comfort.
● Check the chestpiece to note which side is active auscultation (for dual head stethoscope).
How to replace the diaphragm?
Removal
● Pinch the rim of the diaphragm.
● Pull and lift it from the chestpiece. Reassembly
● Insert flexible end into groove of rim.
● Slowly roll it over the edge.
How to clean the chestpiece and eartubes?
Use 70% ethyl alcohol and wipe to clean the chestpiece and eartubes.
How to clean the white tubing?
For daily maintenance, use warm soapy water and dry with clean paper towel. Special Tip: Apply a few drops of medicated oil (you may search on the internet) on the tubing, wait for 10-15 seconds and wipe it with soft and dry towel. It can effectively wipe off the dirt and some light stains. Note: Medicated oil CANNOT stay on the tubing for more than 20 seconds.

Why can’t I hear through the stethoscope?
● Check the stethoscope placement to make sure the chestpiece is placed over the artery which is 1 inch above the bend of the elbow.
● Check the headset to make sure that it has been placed into the ears at the correct angle with eartips facing forward.
Why can’t I inflate the bladder or the needle in the gauge does not move?
● Value: Make sure it is entirely closed.
● Tubing: Mare sure they are fully covering the metal connectors of the pump bulb and the gauge.
How to calibrate the gauge?
1. Detach the tubing from the gauge.
2. Put the screwdriver into the air intake hole.
3. If the needle is to the left, twist the screwdriver anticlockwise.
4. If the needle is to the right, twist the screwdriver clockwise.
How often do I need to calibrate the gauge?
It is recommended to calibrate the gauge every six month to reduce error during measurement.

How to clean the sphygmomanometer?
● Cuff / Tubing / Pump Bulb: Wipe it with a 70% isopropyl alcohol solution.
● Gauge: For daily maintenance, use a dry and clean cloth. If it needs to be disinfected wipe with a 70% isopropyl alcohol solution. Do NOT immerse it in liquid.
How to store the sphygmomanometer?
Put all items into the carrying case and keep it away from extreme heat, cold, solvents and oils.
